The Website Studio

Every site here was designed and built from a blank page for one business. No templates, no page builders, and nobody standing between you and the person doing the work.

Most websites are assembled. These are made.

A small business usually gets one of two things. A template with its logo dropped in, or an agency quote with three account managers priced into it. Both produce the same result, which is a site that looks like everybody else in the same trade.

We work the other way round. One studio, one business at a time, from the first sentence of copy to the last line of code. That is why the sites below do not look like each other, and why several of them do things their competitors cannot do at all.

Built to qualify

Construction and trades, where the tool is the point.

The same design standard, judged on something else: what the site does to an enquiry before a human ever sees it.

A builder's biggest cost is not marketing. It is quoting jobs that were never going to happen.

A contact form tells you a name and a phone number. Somebody then spends an hour on the phone and half a day driving to a survey to find out the budget was a third of the job, or that they were collecting a third quote to beat somebody down.

Every site in this group puts a real price range on the screen instead. Answer a few honest questions, see a real number built from what the firm actually charges, and decide there and then. The people who leave at that point cost nothing to lose, because they were never going to book.

The ones who stay arrive scored. Job type, property, timeframe, and a budget band are already attached, so the enquiries can be sorted before anyone picks up the phone, and the twenty thousand pound extension is not sitting in the same inbox as a dripping tap.

What we do

Design, build, words, camera.

01

Website design

Every page drawn for one business rather than adapted from a theme. Layout, type, colour, and motion decided together, so the site has a point of view instead of a look.

02

Build

Written by hand in Next.js and deployed properly. Fast on a phone on a bad signal, sensible to run, and yours to take anywhere.

03

Tools inside the site

Booking flows, price calculators, valuation wizards, and 3D configurators. The thing that turns a brochure into something a customer can actually use.

04

Copywriting

The words are part of the design and get written at the same time. Most sites fail on the first sentence, not the first screenshot.

05

Film and photography

Shot in house. A site is only as good as what goes in it, and stock photography reads as stock photography.

06

Aftercare

Changes, new pages, and new sections as the business moves. No retainer required and no minimum term.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

A conversation

Half an hour on the business, the customers, and what the site has to make happen. No deck, no discovery fee.

02

A fixed price

Scope and cost in writing within two working days, before anything is designed.

03

Design and build together

You see the real site in a browser as it goes up, not a flat picture of it. Two rounds of changes are built into the price.

04

Launch and after

Domain, hosting, and search setup handled. Then changes whenever the business needs them.
